Where It All Began, a College Dorm Room

HOW IT STARTED

It started in a college dorm room with Designs by Amelia, a nail business Amelia built at 19. She loved the connection that came with every appointment and the freedom of building something on her own terms. Amelia and her twin sister Samantha wanted to start now, take ownership of their future, young and naive, just with a passion to grow and learn.

Seeing the success of Designs by Amelia, they saw an opportunity to build on that same connection and create something bigger. Linked by Twins was born.

Our Journey So Far

LLC Formed and First Pop Up

Linked by Twins officially became a business on July 1st, and just weeks later on July 26th the twins ran their very first pop up, with their Mom & Dad right there helping them prepare.

First Students to Partner with CMU Athletics

Linked by Twins became the first students to become a corporate partner with Central Michigan Athletics, tabling at athletic events, football games, and basketball games, with Linked by Twins commercials played during games.

New Venture Challenge Winners

The twins pitched their business model in front of investors and won first place.

Scaling Across Michigan and Beyond

Linked by Twins is growing campus by campus, bringing connection and experience to more people and more events than ever before.

Built to Give Back

As we grow, we want to give back to where we started. Through our Ambassador Program, we are creating real opportunities for students to learn in real time, build a foundation for their own future, and earn based on the work and time they put in. It is our way of giving the campus community a way to grow alongside us.

Co-Founder

Amelia Morfe

Amelia oversees marketing, creative direction, and the operational backbone of Linked by Twins, leading from behind the scenes to keep the business running smoothly. Outside of work she loves family, friends, golfing, snowboarding, swimming, pickleball, and doing nails.
